I was born and raised in the low country of South Carolina. While in the low country, I was exposed to different styles of music such as; folk, Americana, blues, gospel, jazz, R&B, Contemporary Christian etc.

I earned my Bachelor of Music with a Voice Concentration, Certification in Vocal Functioning 101 through Maddie Tarbox, and am currently finishing up my Master of Music in Voice Performance.

I am one of the many evidence-based voice teachers. We approach voice lessons with voice science, voice teachers’ experience, and the goals/perspectives of the individual student.

I named my voice studio “Head to Heart” because singers are in need of knowledge coupled with passion. We are all artists! Yet many singers are unaware of the tools they already possess. It’s my job to help you uncover and unleash the many colors your voice can paint with and to do it with ease
